Registration overview

"Digital Arts & Culture '99" begins with a reception, performances, and poetry readings on Thursday evening, October 28, followed by two full days of lectures and performances. The conference ends with a reception and "art party" on Saturday evening, October 30. All events will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, on or near the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Most conference venues are close to major highways, and within walking distance of subway stations and other public transportation. (Limited bus service between venues will be available during the conference.)

All conference participants must register and pay the registration fees. Registration includes free admission to:

* all conference lectures, demonstrations, and performance sessions
* Thursday night reception, performances, and poetry reading
* Saturday night reception and party
* breakfast, lunch, coffee, and tea on Friday and Saturday

Registration does not include the conference banquet on Friday evening. Note: Registration for the banquet closed on Friday, 22 October. We can no longer accept registrations for the banquet.

Hostels:

Atlanta Hosteling International. 229 Ponce de Leon Avenue, intersection of Ponce and Myrtle. +1 (404) 875-2882. No age restrictions. $US 18.00 per night. Note: this hostel is a considerable distance from the conference venues, though it is accessible to them by bus and subway.
